  • Safety Assessments: Quickly pull safety liabilities, toxicities, and risk information for gene/protein targets.
  • Pharmacovigilance: Access statistical FDA FAERS data (adverse events) for known drugs using log-likelihood ratios.
  • Druggability Analysis: View comprehensive tractability summaries for targets across multiple modalities (Small Molecule, Antibody, etc.).

📦 Installation & Setup

  1. Clone the repository:

    cd OpentargetMCP
    
  2. Create and activate a virtual environment:

    python3 -m venv .venv
    source .venv/bin/activate
    
  3. Install dependencies:

    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  4. Run the server:

    python server.py
